Since qualifying in 1988 Rhian has specialised in Family Law. She specialises in dealing with high net worth family finance cases and in particular in acting for clients who have their own businesses. Rhian has expertise in dealing with issues relating to pensions and taxation and cases involving an expert forensic analysis of accounts. She also deals with cases involving divorce, separation, cohabitation  disputes, pre and postnuptial agreements and complex private law children matters.

Rhian is a member of Resolution and believes that disputes should be resolved in a non- confrontational manner if this can be achieved.If it is necessary to issue proceedings then these proceedings are conducted in an effective and efficient way.

She regularly represents business owners ,and legal and financial professionals.

Prior to joining Hopkins Law Rhian was head of the Family department at David and Snape (now merged with Red kite Law) and a director in a niche Family Law practice in Cardiff.
