Equity Release Scheme

What exactly does an equity release scheme involve?
It lets you raise money from your property as a regular income, a lump sum, or both. It also gives you and your partner the right to remain living there until you both pass on or decide to move out.

There are two types of equity release scheme available in the market, with several variations on each:

  • The lifetime mortgage involves taking out a new loan secured on your home
  • The home reversion involves selling all, or part of the ownership of your home

In return, both will pay you a lump sum and/or an income.

you and Helen really did douse the fire for us and we
are so very grateful, especially as you were all already
very busy with the Stamp Duty deadline
looming. With our grateful thanks”

Dear Gill
Many thanks for this and for all the hard work you and Rhian put into this purchase and the sale of the Old Vicarage. We have settled in very well, the house and garden are lovely and we have no regrets about moving. The weather is just like Wales…wet !!
The house contained no nasty surprises and we understand that the purchasers are also very happy with their new home and its lovely surroundings.

I’d like to thank you for your patience and guidance throughout the sale/purchase procedure – you managed to keep things calm for me which was so appreciated. I knew every step of the way that I was in safe hands.”

Hi Kelly and Krissy,
Just wanted to thank you very much for your hard work on both our cases. I appreciate the insanity of the rush for the stamp duty deadline was hard on everyone in the industry. I hope you all have a well earned rest somewhere quiet and away from emails and phone calls!
I appreciate the through diligence you followed on our case and the kind helpfulness. The recommendation of your services is well justified.

Dear Liane, I just wanted to let you know how impressed we have been with Emma Penn throughout our house sale and purchase recently. She was recommended to us by someone who said “she’s the most efficient person I’ve ever come across” and we would agree. To add to this, her communication throughout has been brilliant so we have been kept in the loop all the way through much more so than our previous experiences of house purchasing. She’s a huge asset to the firm. Best wishes R and R
