Michelle Jones
Associate Solicitor

Originally from Newport, Michelle studied for her Law Degree in Swansea, trained in Newport and qualified in January 2008. Michelle joined Hopkins Law in 2017 and became an Associate Solicitor in 2020.

Michelle is part of the Family Law Department in the Cardiff office and specialises in complex Family and Child Care matters. For more than 10 years, Michelle has acted for Parents, Guardians and Local Authorities in public law proceedings.  

Michelle brings with her a wealth of experience in representing parents who are facing allegations of neglect, inflicted injury and sexual abuse, Michelle has been an accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Law Panel since 2013 and her work with Local Authorities and CAFCASS in South Wales, ensures that she is able to offer expert guidance and opinion to individuals and families seeking legal advice.

Michelle also has extensive experience in private law children matters and injunctive actions.
