About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Family Law Solicitor / Legal Executive to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to handle a varied caseload of family matters, including divorce, financial remedy, and children work.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal advice and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a compassionate and professional approach throughout what can often be challenging circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
– Managing a caseload of family law matters including:
– Divorce and separation
Pre-Nups /Post-Nups / Cohabitation/Separation Agreements
– Financial remedy proceedings and settlements
– Private and public law children matters
– Providing clear, practical, and empathetic legal advice to clients
– Conducting negotiations and representing clients where appropriate
– Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court applications
– Attending court hearings and client meetings
– Contributing to business development and maintaining professional relationships
About You
– Qualified Solicitor / Legal Executive in England & Wales
– Ideally 2+ years’ PQE in family law (all levels considered)
– Experience in divorce, finance, and children matters
– Excellent communication and client care skills
– Ability to manage your own caseload independently
– A proactive and commercially aware approach
– Resolution/ Law Society Accreditation or willingness to work towards it

The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounts experience—ideally within the legal sector—to support the day-to-day financial operations of the firm. The role can be offered on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting with day-to-day accounts functions, including purchase and sales ledger
– Processing invoices, payments, and receipts
– Bank reconciliations
– Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures
– Maintaining accurate financial records in line with legal accounting standards
– Supporting compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
– Checking conveyancing completion statements and packs
Requirements:
– Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
– Experience within a legal environment is highly desirable
– Familiarity with legal accounting systems and Solicitors Accounts Rules (preferred)
– Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
– Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
