HEAD OF DEPARTMENT / CONSULTANT CHILDREN PANEL SOLICITORS

Are you a passionate and empathetic Family Solicitor who wants to make a difference in the lives of Children and Families? We are looking for Family Lawyers (Children Panel Accredited) to join our award-winning team. If you’re looking for a role in a regional firm with friendly Solicitors and Support Staff and the opportunity to work on challenging cases, then send us your CV!

This opportunity is for Children Panel Accredited lawyers with a following and/or an existing caseload. You’ll be joining a supportive and growing team that delivers high-quality legal advice and representation in complex and sensitive family matters, involving parents and children.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing a caseload of public law children matters and other complex family cases
  • Providing expert legal representation and guidance to vulnerable clients
  • Collaborating within a small, specialist team with national reach
  • Supporting the ongoing growth and development of the department
  • Contributing to business development and maintaining your professional network
  • Based in Cardiff/Chepstow

PROPERTY LAWYER - COWBRIDGE
We are an Award Winning law firm based across 3 offices in South Wales. Due to the success of our Property team we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join our Cowbridge office.
The role involves managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, providing expert legal advice, and building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in residential conveyancing, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.

About the Role:
We are seeking a Residential Property Lawyer to join our busy and thriving property team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Handling a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as contracts and leases.
• Managing the conveyancing process from initial instruction through to completion.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working effectively as part of a team and contributing to the overall success of the department.
• Staying up-to-date with changes in property law and conveyancing procedures.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with 3+ years PQE (experience may be flexible for the right candidate).
• Proven experience in handling residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client care skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload effectively and prioritise tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commercial approach and a desire to build client relationships.
